Sean serves as Spectrum’s Senior Software Architect and Data Scientist.  He is the architect and developer of Spectrum’s NuWave Spectral Software suite, and he also provides python programming and software integration expertise.  He has over ten years of wide-ranging experience in the field of optical analytical measurements, including hands-on experience building, deploying, and maintaining FTIR, UV, and QCL instrumentation.  He has performed environmental testing and consulting work for the semiconductor, oil, gas, and chemical industries.  Sean has his B.S. and M.S. in Chemistry from Texas A&M where his research work focused on high-resolution spectroscopy.  He has also published three peer-reviewed articles in scientific journals.
