The next generation of Open Path (OP) environmental monitoring instrumentation.
Spectrum’s DetectUV-OP utilizes differential optical absorption spectroscopy (DOAS) and provides an ideal solution when continuous, real-time air monitoring for compounds such as benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, xylene (BTEX) is needed. With its capability for generating sub-ppb detection limits, the DetectUV-OP can also provide unmatched sensitivity for nitric oxide, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, and chlorine, among other compounds.
Each DetectUV-OP instrument is capable of monitoring path lengths up to 2,000 meters (round trip) and when equipped with a pan/tilt positioner, it can scan multiple paths. Ultimately, providing your fenceline with comprehensive coverage that other point monitoring technologies simply can’t provide.
Built-in reference cells enable periodic reference gas comparison for quality assurance. Using locally sourced meteorological data, DetectUV-OP can be integrated into a fence-line monitoring system for multi-gas monitoring, providing the near real-time leak and release emissions detection from the facility.
As lawmakers and the public increasingly shift their focus and attention on facilities that emit air toxins like benzene, the DetectUV™-OP is the essential tool for making sure your facility is protected with state-of-the-art, optical remote sensing technology.
When coupled with Spectrum’s Tsunami™ data management system, its real-time data and comprehensive open-path coverage can help ensure that any emissions migrating off-site are identified quickly so that you’re able to respond immediately and be proactive instead of reactive.
Easy to use, extremely powerful, and eminently reliable, discover what other users already know: the DetectUV™-DOAS-OP is the most advanced fenceline monitoring solution in the industry.
